Jana Striezel is appointed Renault Director of Purchasing
Boulogne-Billancourt, September 27th, 2021 – Starting on October 1st, 2021, Jana Striezel will join Renault Group as Director of Purchasing for Renault and Alliance Global Director of Purchasing Europe.
Jana Striezel will operate under APO (Alliance Purchasing Organization) Managing Director, Gianluca de Ficchy, and report to Luca de Meo, CEO Renault Group and CEO of Renault. She will be a member of the Renault Management Committee.
Jana Striezel is 44 years old. She studied law and economics at Bayreuth University, Germany. She is a Yale Law School (USA) alumna.
She was CEO of For-Med then partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, before joining the Volkswagen Group in 2014 as head of the Antitrust Department. In 2017, she led a task force that sought to reduce emission pollution worldwide. Two years later, she was appointed Executive Director Corporate Purchasing Exterior for the Volkswagen Group and Volkswagen brand.
