The military police of Rio de Janeiro announced on October 24, 2011 that it was renewing its fleet of patrol vehicles. The force will now be driving Renault Logan around the city and its suburbs. More than 1,300 Logan will be delivered, gradually replacing the current fleet of Volkswagen Gol.
The new, five-year contract reflects the strengths of Renault Logan: robustness, reliability, roominess and comfort. This fleet will be equipped with onboard computers, special data transmission systems and in-car cameras.
