Renault renews its partnership with Deauville American Film Festival
Renault, the Official Partner for 18 years, will provide 27 vehicles for the 43rd Deauville American Film Festival.
On 1–10 September, everyone, from actors to 2017 Panel Chairpersons Emmanuelle Bercot and Michel Hazanavicius, will be driven in a Renault.
A move that will strengthen Renault's historical ties with the film industry, first established in 1898.
Boulogne, 31 August 2017 – For the 18th year running, Renault will be driving the Deauville American Film Festival. This year, Renault's fleet will include a selection of models. The 27 vehicles will include "red carpet" favourites Renault Espace and Talisman, sharing the limelight with Trafic SpaceClass shuttles to provide the largest and most comfortable passenger space.
This 43rd event will be jointly chaired by Michel Hazanavicius as Panel Chair, with Emmanuelle Bercot chairing the Revelation Jury. The awards ceremony will see two prizes awarded: the Grand Prix and the Prix du Jury.
Renault's image has been closely tied to that of cinema since 1898, when its factories were next to the Lumière Brothers' studio in Billancourt. "Once again, Renault intends to stand on the stage at Deauville side-by-side with the great film community. Our history has had close ties with French cinema for nearly 120 years!" Renault-Nissan Alliance Public Relations Director Claude Hugot proudly reminds us.
Renault also partners the Festivals at Cannes, Angouleme, Lyon Lumière, Alpe d’Huez and the César awards ceremony.
